Administration fraudCNS fraud
Fraudsters impersonate the Caisse Nationale de Santé (CNS), typically claiming that a reimbursement or administrative matter requires the victim to click a link, provide banking information, or authenticate.
Concrete example
The victim receives an SMS claiming to be from the CNS stating that a €280 reimbursement is awaiting payment. The message contains a link to a website resembling the CNS website and asks the victim to enter their bank-card details and authenticate with LuxTrust to receive the reimbursement.
